Our Story

Groovy Pawz 🐾 inspiration comes from the overwhelming love of one very special dog, our Bentley boy.  Bentley is a 6-year-old male, strong, handsome Frenchie with a white coat with black spots.  His unique markings are not often seen in most French Bulldogs.

Bentley had a very big personality!  His sweet, loving and unforgettable Frenchie smile was infectious.  Whenever we would walk him and his sister Lulu, people gravitated to Bentley and he always stole the show. He loved people and would often insert himself in groups and crowds standing amongst them looking up at everyone as though he understood what they were saying and that he was their best friend.  Much to their surprise Bentleys presence in the crowd would always bring giggles and laughs and once again Bentley warmed our hearts 💕.

Bryon and I love being pet parents 👩‍❤️‍👨.  We do not have any children of our own so, our fur babies are truly our babies as we refer to them as our kids!

I recall one very sad day 😢 for us when suddenly Bentley wasn’t eating or drinking as he normally would, and he began throwing up.  We thought that he may have caught the flu and so I took him to the veterinarian, and they ran some lab tests 🧪️.  What we found out that day left us in a state of shock and seemed unreal 😭.  Our beautiful Bentley boy would not make it through the week as they found abnormalities in his blood and prostate.  This was shocking news to us as we had his routine checkup 6 months prior that reported normal results.  As fate would have it in just 3 days, our Bentley boy passed away in our arms 👼.  I still remember his big beautiful eyes radiating such enormous love as they gently said “goodbye” to us.

Bryon and I were heartbroken 💔💔.  If you have ever lost a pet in your lifetime you can relate to the enormous hole it puts in your heart and your life. In the midst of our heartbreak came inspiration.  Focusing on all the good memories, and positive ways that we can make a difference, 10% of Groovy Pawz profits are donated to pet cancer research.  Our hope is to find a cure and to provide help to those families in need as treatment, and medication for pets can be very costly.

Throughout our journey, our commitment and focus to provide eco-friendly 🍃 pet products is not only essential for the health and wellbeing of our furry friends, but it also contributes to a more sustainable and healthier planet.  As pet parents we have the responsibility to make conscious choices that promote a better future for our pets and the environment they live in.  Today our family has grown to include our beloved Lulu (8 year old White & Black Frenchie), Maverick (1 year old Blue Frenchie), and Jax (15 week old Frenchie Merle).  Bryon and I live on the principle, to inspire with kindness and laughter, live in the moment, give thanks, and never take anything for granted.
